Your Daughter’s Long-Term Development Path

Team Lex UA – Houston is one part of a complete development system built for girls in The Woodlands and surrounding areas. Parents aren’t just signing up for a season — you’re stepping into a clear, long-term plan that can take your daughter from beginner to confident high school-ready player.

Stage 1 – Entry Level

Ages 6–9 learning the game for the first time. Fundamentals First classes and Young Ballers Leagues help your daughter fall in love with basketball, learn basic movement, and build early confidence in a positive, structured setting.

Stage 2 – Early Development

As her skills grow, she moves into more focused Fundamentals First progressions and age-based leagues. The goal here is cleaner footwork, better ball control, and understanding simple spacing and teamwork — without losing the fun.

Stage 3 – Skill Expansion

Now she’s ready for stronger standards. Programs like the Girls Select Class and Girls Select League in The Woodlands challenge her with higher-level drills, accountability, and game concepts while still protecting her confidence.

Stage 4 – Competitive Pathway

This is where Team Lex UA – Houston fits. Your daughter is now playing against stronger competition, practicing at a higher pace, and learning how to perform in front of coaches and evaluators — while still being coached the right way, with structure, communication, and standards.

Stage 5 – School Prep & Tryouts

As middle school tryouts and high school opportunities get closer, your daughter can use seasonal clinics and Tryout Prep programs to sharpen skills, decision-making, and confidence. The focus here is understanding roles, reading the floor, and showing coaches she’s coachable and prepared.

Stage 6 – High School Readiness

By staying in the system, she doesn’t just become a better player — she becomes a better competitor and teammate. Consistent standards, clear feedback, and long-term relationships with coaches help her step into high school basketball with confidence, poise, and a strong foundation built over years, not weeks.

Whether your daughter is just beginning or already ready for Team Lex, there is a clear next step for her inside this system. Every practice, class, and season is designed to move her forward — not just for one tryout, but for her entire basketball journey.
