What if my child has never played basketball?

A Young Ballers league or Fundamentals First class is usually the best starting point.

How long is the league season?

Each Fall 2026 league runs for four weeks.

How long is practice?

Each weekly session includes a 50-minute practice led by Coach Deon and staff.

How long are the games?

Game format and quarter length vary by division. Each league page provides the appropriate division details.

How are teams formed?

Coach Deon and staff divide players into balanced teams based on age, experience, readiness, and roster needs.

Are friend requests accepted?

Yes. Friend and teammate requests are considered whenever possible, but placement together cannot be guaranteed.

How many players are accepted?

Each league is limited to 20 players.

How much do the leagues cost?

Girls Young Ballers, Boys Young Ballers, Boys Elevate, and Boys Inspire are $175 per player. Girls Select is $200 per player.

Policies and Program Details

Pricing and season length

Most leagues are $175; Girls Select is $200. Each price covers the complete four-week Fall 2026 session.

Registration deadline and capacity

Registration closes August 31, 2026, unless a division reaches its 20-player capacity earlier.

Uniform policy

A game uniform is provided for use during the season and must be returned after the final session.

Cancellation and program credit

League fees are nonrefundable. Eligible cancellations may receive Coach Deon Basketball program credit.

Playing-time policy

Every player will play at least half of each game, provided the player is healthy, eligible, and available.

Team formation and friend requests

Teams are balanced by age, experience, readiness, and roster needs. Friend requests are considered but cannot be guaranteed.

What players should bring

Basketball shoes, a properly inflated basketball, a water bottle, and a positive attitude.
