Weekly Experience

How Each League Session Works

1. Arrive Prepared

Players check in with basketball shoes, a properly inflated basketball, and water.

2. Learn

Coach-led practice introduces skills, team concepts, and decisions players will use in the game.

3. Compete

Players apply the lesson in an organized game with coaching and meaningful playing time.

4. Grow

Experience, feedback, mistakes, and repetition create better habits and greater confidence.

Uniform A Coach Deon Basketball game uniform is provided for use during the season and must be returned after the final session.
Playing Time Every player will play at least half of each game, provided the player is healthy, eligible, and available.

Boys Elevate League FAQs

Is Boys Elevate appropriate for beginners?

Yes. Boys Elevate supports newer and developing 5th–6th grade players who are ready for structured coaching and organized game experience.

Does my child need to be an advanced player?

No. Players do not need to be advanced. Placement is based on grade, experience, confidence, and readiness for this level of competition.

Are practices and games on the same day?

Yes. Each Saturday session includes structured practice followed by organized live competition.

What will players work on?

Players work on fundamentals, spacing, teamwork, communication, decision-making, defense, confidence, and competitive habits.

Will every player receive playing time?

Yes. Every player will play at least half of each game, provided the player is healthy, eligible, and available to participate.

Is a uniform included?

A Coach Deon Basketball game uniform is provided for use during the season and must be returned after the final session.

What should players bring?

Players should bring basketball shoes, a properly inflated basketball, water, and a positive attitude.

Can families outside The Woodlands register?

Yes. Families from Spring, Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Woodforest, Shenandoah, and surrounding communities may register.
