Coach Deon Basketball is offering a structured Spring Break camp for players ages 6–15 at The Woodlands Methodist School FLC Gym. This four-day camp is designed to meet players where they are, with two separate registration tracks so each player receives the right level of coaching and challenge.

Two Registration Tracks

  • Beginners & Developing Players (Ages 6–12): fundamentals, confidence, and learning the game in a positive, structured environment
  • Intermediate Players (Ages 13–15): skill refinement, game decision-making, and competitive reps

What to Expect Each Day

  • Ball handling, shooting, and footwork development
  • Live gameplay to build real-game confidence
  • Players grouped appropriately for personal attention and steady growth
  • Led by Coach Deon – The Woodlands’ Most Dedicated Coach

Flexible Camp Schedule

  • Full Day: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (full-day campers must pack a lunch)
  • Half Day Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Half Day Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Not sure which track to choose? If your child is still learning core dribbling, shooting, and footwork consistency, start in Beginners & Developing (ages 6–12). If your child already has a foundation and is ready for faster-paced reps, decision-making, and higher accountability, choose Intermediate (ages 13–15).

Many families use this camp to prepare their player for our youth basketball leagues in The Woodlands and monthly skill classes, so the confidence they build over Spring Break carries into the rest of their season.

Parent Questions: Answered

What ages can attend the Spring Break Camp?

The camp serves players ages 6–15. Registration is divided into two coaching tracks: Beginners & Developing (ages 6–12) and Intermediate (ages 13–15).

How do I know which track to register for?

If your child is still learning core dribbling, shooting, and footwork consistency, start in Beginners & Developing (6–12). If your child already has a foundation and is ready for faster-paced reps and decision-making, choose Intermediate (13–15). Players are also grouped by ability within each track.

What should my child bring?

Campers should bring a water bottle, athletic shoes, and a snack. Full-day campers must pack a lunch for the break from 12:00–1:00 PM.

Will there be games or just drills?

Both. Each day includes skill work and live gameplay so players can apply what they learn in real situations.
