October Basketball Programs for All Skill Levels

All programs at The Woodlands Methodist School – FLC Gym

Develop with The Woodlands’ Most Dedicated Coach. Programs are built for beginners, developing players, and junior high athletes preparing for school team tryouts.

Spots are limited — reserve your player’s place early!

Dribbling & Shooting Class

Fridays, October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th • 7:00–8:30 PM

Forty-five minutes of ball-handling development and forty-five minutes of shot mechanics and finishing. Built for real-game application to help players handle pressure and score consistently.


Weekend Clinics

Saturdays, October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th • 2:30–4:30 PM

Two hours of focused instruction and game-speed drills. Players sharpen dribbling, shooting, and finishing, then compete in controlled scrimmages. Ideal for extra reps outside weekly classes.


Basketball Tryout Clinic

Sundays, Oct. 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th • 1:00–3:00 PM

Designed for junior high athletes preparing for school team tryouts. Sessions run like a real tryout with rotations through skill stations, conditioning, and live scrimmages. Emphasis on effort, communication, and basketball IQ.

Fundamentals First – Pick Up & Hoop Class

Mondays, October 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th • 5:30–6:15 PM

Beginners and developing players blend learning and live play. We emphasize footwork, passing, scoring, and guided 3-on-3 / 4-on-4 to build basketball IQ, teamwork, and confidence.


Lady Ballers Class (All-Girls)

Mondays, October 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th • 7:30–8:30 PM

A positive, structured space for girls to build confidence and fundamentals while developing teamwork and leadership. Coaching emphasizes encouragement with accountability.

Players should bring a water bottle and wear athletic shoes. Players are encouraged to bring their own basketball if they have one.
